Donation by mail is one of the most popular ways people support charities. But due to this year’s postal strike, charities' donation requests weren't able to reach homes as planned. This means many mail-in donations will either be forgotten or won't be delivered in time for the holidays.

An estimated 40% of all donations come in during the holiday season. Some charities are already estimating a 50% loss in donations since the postal strike began.
