I was raised on a llama farm that secretly doubled as a fallout shelter, deep in the BC wilderness. Luckily, we also had electricity and a Commodore 64, both of which inspired me at an early age to create digital art. The pixels were the size of Lego blocks but it was Art, goddammit.

I earned my stripes in this industry the hard way: by reading books and pressing buttons. In my early years, I toiled in the galley of traditional print, vector illustration and design, my rough hands wet with toner, ink and blood. Then times changed and that wasn’t enough, so I read more books and I pressed more buttons, delving into the savage lands of online animation and UX. These days, after a decade or two of experience, I like to describe myself as a “Jack of all trades, master of some.” My other interests include writing, psychology and rubbing the bellies of fuzzy mammals.
