who we think with.
I grew up in Vancouver and spent my summers travelling around the province—excellent training for navigating the 40 or so countries I’ve explored as an adult. When I was at home, I was logging chores to earn computer time so I could connect to AOL. Ever since those chore-sucking, dial-up days, I’ve had an attachment to anything that’s connected to the internet and an aversion to vacuuming.
I dabbled in soccer, lacrosse and golf, but ended up actually pursuing a career in hockey. I played 5 years in the WHL, and although I wasn’t drafted into the NHL, I was invited to three tryout camps before the NHL and I parted ways.
After having a lot of fun creating my own wedding website, I decided to make a career change and become a web developer. By day, I’m at my desk honing my HTML5, SASS, CSS3, JS and occasionally Adobe CC skills. By night, I’m having a time at the pub with friends or binging on Netflix and a bowl of popcorn that is way too big.
